Important Information Regarding Non-U.S.A. Shipments

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Effective for all Lock-It® Straps purchased after December 1st, 2016.

Our locks are guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for life or we’ll repair it (or replace it at our option) for FREE. If the workmanship of the strap’s assembly is defective, we’ll repair or replace it for FREE. Our limited LIFETIME WARRANTY covers our patented locks and the workmanship of the strap-assembly only.

Our warranty does not cover, and is not limited to defects arising from, locks or straps that have been abused, modified, have become non-operational with normal wear and tear or have been used in ways unintended. It does not cover any components from third party vendors such as “D” loops or tri-glide adjusters or strap materials. It does not cover locks that have been used with non-standard or overly large strap-buttons, such as with large output end-pin jacks on electric-acoustics guitars. We do not guarantee or assert that our locks will work with any metal strap-lock-button or system or hardware. No other warranties or guarantees implied.

Since there are so many variables with guitar playing, we cannot possibly guarantee absolute guitar security. No one can and no one does. Retailer and manufacturer shall not be responsible for any damages, loss of time, loss of use of product, interrupted operations or commercial loss, or any other consequential damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, down time, goodwill, and/or damages to equipment or property or replacement thereof.

Warranty Service regarding the Custom Services from Lock-It Express.

  • If you believe your strap or lock is defective in any way, do not return it to the retailer — please contact us first. Rest assured, we want to resolve the issue for you as quickly as possible. First, we’ll need to have you furnish us with some basic information in order for us to make a determination regarding it.
  • If it’s determined that your strap is covered by our warranty and needs to be sent in for repair or replacement, you’ll need to send it using a shipper that can track your parcel. As a requirement, you’ll need to provide us with a tracking number. Without it, we cannot proceed.
  • You’ll also be required to pre-pay the return shipping and handling charges first. Currently, to ship a strap anywhere within the United States via USPS Priority Service is about $7.00 USD. Outside of the United States, you’ll be charged accordingly. Please contact us first if you are outside of the U.S. needing warranty service.
  • You can expect that your repair (or replacement) will be expedited as quickly as possible. When it’s ready and being shipped, you will be notified with a tracking number.
